Expressen’s revelation that a wanted woman without a residence permit was detained at Magdalena Andersson’s address has sparked a discussion about the responsibility for the Prime Minister’s security.
Now Säpo announces that it understands that the media reporting on the incident raises questions.

The week before Christmas the police rushed to Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson’s home in Nacka after an alarm was triggered in the home . There were two people on site who were there to clean at Andersson’s.
One, a woman in her 25s, lacked a Swedish residence permit, had a final rejection decision and was wanted.
Expressen’s revelation has raised critical questions about the security routines around the head of government .
Security Chief Johan Wiktorin wrote on Twitter:
“Are not responsible on their toes in this world situation ?? How can a person who is here illegally be allowed to clean up with our Prime Minister? And from Nicaragua, whose relations with Russia are, to say the least, good in intelligence contexts. Who is responsible? ”
The security expert:“ Scandal ”
Security expert Dick Malmlund believes that the Security Police can not absolve themselves of responsibility, and that those who carry out assignments in the private home are included in the protection of the Prime Minister.
– Säpo says that it is not their job , and if it’s not, then it’s a scandal, of course. And if it is, then it is also a scandal. No matter how you twist and turn it, this is deplorable.

Säpo’s communications manager Nina Odermalm Schei said on Friday that it is not the authority’s task to control people who are to perform work at the homes of people in the central government.
On Sunday, Security Police Chief Charlotte von Essen will announce that Säpo is acting, and will “review whether there is a need for rule changes.”
