The festive 'pico y placa' begins in Bogotá: keys to keep in mind

THAT’S HOW IT WORKS

The first thing to be clear about is that the ‘pico y placa’ for holidays will only be used on Mondays, the other days that become holidays they will not have it.

The shifts are as follows:

– Until noon, all cars will be able to enter.

– From 12 pm to 4 pm, Only par. plate cars will be able to enter

– From 4 pm to 8 pm, Only cars with odd license plates will be able to enter.

– After 8 pm, all cars will be able to enter .

The entrances of Bogotá for which the measure will work are:

– North Freeway: from the Andes toll to the north portal, north – south direction.

– South highway: from the municipal limit from Soacha to Boyacá avenue, direction south – north.

– Centennial Avenue (13th Street ): from the Bogotá River to Ciudad de Cali Avenue (86 Carrera Avenue), west – east direction .

– 80th Street Avenue: from the guadua bridge to portal 80, direction west – east.

– Avenida Carrera 7: from 245th Street to 183rd Street, direction north – south.

– Avenida Boyacá via al Llano: from the Argelino Durán Quintero tunnel to the old Llano road, from south to north.

– Vía Suba – Cota: from the Bogotá river to the street avenue 170, direction north – south.

ARE THERE EXEMPTIONS?
No. For this festive ‘peak and plate’, neither the 3 or more people in the car, nor the medical personnel vehicles and nor the ‘solidarity peak and plate’ apply.
