The Jazz・ Pat Fish, known for Butcher’s activities, has died. He was 64 years old.
The news was published on Facebook by lead guitarist Max Eider on The Jazz Butcher’s Facebook page. The cause of death has not been clarified.
“Very sad, my old friend Pat Fish died suddenly and gently on Tuesday night.” Max Eider said. “Pat Fish locked my world in every way, and his death left a big hole in my life and my memories. Many of my memories were preserved only in his oversized brain.
He goes on to say: “Goodbye, friend. Thank you for everything. I will miss you.”

Pat Fish, born in London in 1957 as Patrick Huntrods, formed The Jazz Butcher with Max Eider in 1982. The debut album “In Bath of Bacon” was released in 1983.
From 1988 to 1995, The Jazz Butcher was from Creation Records to “Cult of the Basement” and “Condition Blue”. , And the last album released by Creation Records is “Illuminate.” The final release of The Jazz Butcher is the 2016 single “All The Saints”.
Jazz Butcher’s work was out of print from the late 90’s to the 2000’s, but Fire Records has been reissued for several years. A collection of works called “Dr. Chamley Repents” will be released on November 12th.
