In October, the recording of a Netflix drama series about the disappearance case in Lørenskog starts. It’s not about the question of guilt, the creators emphasize.
According to Aftenposten , the series will premiere on Netflix in 2022.
– We think it is important and right to do this now, says screenwriter Nikolaj Frobenius .
Also Stephen Uhlander is the screenwriter, and Gjyljeta Berisha and Erik Skjoldbjærg is directed. The cast includes Henrik Rafaelsen , Yngvild Grotmol , Victoria Ose and Christian Rubeck .
– Our series is not about the question of guilt, but precisely about how the unresolved issue affects and helps to shape our perceptions. What happens to us as a society when we do not know, asks the screenwriter who believes the series will stand up regardless of the outcome of the investigation.
Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared from the couple’s home on 31 October 2018 and has not been found. Her husband Tom Hagen is charged with murder or complicity in murder, but denies having anything to do with the case.
– There is no doubt that such a series will cause a tremendous burden for my client , says lawyer Svein Holden , who is Tom Hagen’s defender.
According to the creators of the series, the family is informed about the series. The Hagen couple and the next of kin will not be central in the series, according to director Erik Skjoldbjærg.
