The Sailing Association presents the dream team of coaches. The union’s management today (Monday) approved the appointments of Olympic medalists Gal Friedman and Shachar Zubari to coach the men’s windsurfing team, as first reported in ONE.
Friedman, who won two Olympic medals and was Israel’s first Olympic champion, will coach the men’s windsurfing team after the departure of Gur Steinberg. In addition, Zubari, who won the bronze medal in Beijing 2008, will retire and coach the women’s team.

The sailing association stated: “The coaches’ appointments came after many months of hard work by the management of the sailing association, as part of the preparations for the Paris 2024 campaign.
