The Weeknd has bagged a movie star and he wants the world to know.
On his new album Dawn FM, which dropped Friday, the Canadian superstar gushes about his famous new girlfriend.
“And my new girl, she a movie star / My new girl, she a movie star,” he sings on “Here We Go… Again” featuring Tyler, the Creator. “I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell / But I make her laugh, swear it cures my depressing thoughts.”
The lyrics also include, “‘Cause baby girl, she a movie star / Baby girl, she a movie star / I told myself that I’d never fall / But here we go again.”
It didn’t take long for fans to speculate about the mystery woman, which many believe is Angelina Jolie. The two fueled romance rumors when they were spotted dining together on several occasions last year.
When asked about their rumored relationship, the Eternals actress avoided the question.
The Weeknd has dated other famous women in the past including Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez.
Dawn FM, which also features Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, and Jim Carrey, is receiving rave reviews, with Variety calling it “possibly The Weeknd’s best and most fully realized album to date.”
