In this case, the creative has shared that they originally considered Metroid Prime 3: Corruption to be an open world game. With this, they wanted the game to be less linear and acknowledge that the fact of not implementing it made him a bit sad, because he would like the fans to discover this idea that they had in the beginning. However, he acknowledges that the final title was “fantastic”.
Along with this, he also shared that Hypermode was one of the aspects that cost him the most when working on the title. He adds that it took them a whole year to agree and implement it so that Samus became temporarily stronger, in exchange for an energy tank. The biggest challenge was to get everything balanced, share the creative.
