After 49 years, the Catalans again suffered two consecutive defeats in the biggest European club tournament. And what – both “classic” (with 3: 0), as one of them against Bayern Munich at the mythical “Camp Nou”. That “Camp Nou” with almost 100,000 capacity, which was considered an indestructible fortress.
Yes, but the defeat was from Bayern . Since when does Barcelona justify its losses with the name of the opponent? How come one of the greatest football clubs in the world (if not the greatest) considers it normal to lose 0: 3 as a host?
Barcelona is totally ruined. Leave the results, there is no champion mentality. That thinking in the players, the coaches, the management, the fans that made this team great. Barcelona, which every other team in the world feared. And now – a harmless rival for teams like Granada and Cadiz …
The year is 2021 and Lionel Messi is no more. The footballer who carried the last few seasons of the team on his own.
