This control room will be built in the authority’s office itself. Its estimate has been made. It is estimated to cost around Rs 2 crore. After its completion, all the services related to Greater Noida will be integrated (integrated) from this control room. is growing. The authority is being made paperless through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). All services are being done online. Be it street lights or patch repair work of roads, sewer lines or water supply, GIS (Geographical Information System) mapping of all services is being done. Where are the green belts, where are the public toilets, all these are becoming a part of GIS mapping, so that the officials of the Greater Noida Authority can keep an eye on them from the online system.
CEO Narendra Bhushan has decided to take it further and create an Integrated Command and Control Center. This center will be built in the authority office premises itself. Eight video walls will be built in the control room, where the employees sitting in the control room will continue to receive updated information about all the facilities being provided by the Greater Noida Authority to the residents of the city. If any complaint comes from anywhere, it will be immediately sent to the concerned department through this control room.
Not only this, Greater Noida has five entrances. First, on coming from Noida- Greater Noida, Pari Chowk, second on entering Greno West from Pratap Vihar (Ghaziabad) near Tigri roundabout, third on coming from Noida via Hindon bridge towards Char Murti roundabout, fourth at Kasna entrance and Fifth Surajpur is the entry point. 40 CCTV cameras will be installed at these entrances. All these will be connected to the Integrated Control Room. Their monitoring can also be done from this control room. Estimate of Integrated Command and Control Center has been prepared. About two crore rupees will be spent to make it. The tender for its construction is going to be issued soon. Once the work starts, it will take three to four months to complete it. The CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan, has given instructions to prepare the Integrated Control Room on priority in view of the convenience of the residents.
