Three times when Thalapathy Vijay and Shankar tried to join for a film before ‘Thalapathy 70’!

Thalapathy Vijay’s action flick ‘Leo’ is gearing up for a grand release on October 19. The actor has completed his work for the movie and is likely to start shooting for ‘Thalapathy 68’ by August month. The upcoming project is directed by Venkat Prabhu and bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Indiaglitz broke to you well ahead that director Atlee is in talks to direct ‘Thalapathy 69’ and director Shankar is the frontrunner to helm ‘Thalapathy 70’. We mentioned that Shankar’s film with Vijay is going to be a political thriller. Now, sources tell us that Shankar had earlier told three stories to Thalapathy, but the actor wasn’t interested in those. This news is going viral now.

Reportedly, Shankar narrated a multistarrer script with Thalapathy Vijay as the hero and Chiyaan Vikram as the villain back in 2014. He then coined the ‘Mudhalavan 2’ idea in 2017 and told a 3D science fiction script in 2018. But these projects didn’t materialise. Now for Thalapathy 70, Shankar came up with a hard-hitting political thriller and Vijay was impressed with it but he is yet to give his final nod.
