The latest NVIDIA driver package, namely the 522.25 Game Ready driver, was released yesterday. Inside the nv_dispig.inf file that came with it, three unreleased RTX 3000 series cards were spotted: the GA102-based GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X, and the GeForce RTX 3060 with 8 GB of video memory.

The latest NVIDIA driver reveals no less than three video cards that have been in the rumor mill for a while. They have been spotted in the nv_dispig.inf file from the 522.25 Game Ready driver package and, based on past such events, this is the final step before they hit the market. However, we should keep in mind that NVIDIA or any third parties still have to confirm this, although it is very likely that the three cards will be introduced silently as a part of the existing RTX 3000 series.

The most interesting of the three is a new GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, which comes with a different GPU than the model currently on the market. The existing model uses the GA104 GPU, and the one spotted in the aforementioned .inf file uses the GA102 GPU, currently employed only by GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 cards. The second and third are the GA104-powered GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X memory and the GA106-driven GeForce RTX 3060 with 8 GB of memory.

Although NVIDIA and its partners remain silent regarding this topic, it is very likely that the three new(ish) RTX 3000 series cards will become available before the end of the month.
