TikTok tests the Repost video sharing button

The TikTok application is testing a new possibility of sharing clips.

A new feature called Repost should make it easier to share clips from the For You page with friends without having to send them via instant messaging. This Repost button will work similarly to the Retweet button on Twitter, some users already have it, but not all.

The new button will be limited to the For You page from the share menu, which means it will not be available throughout the TikTok application.

In addition, clips shared via the Repost button will not appear on the proBlu of the user who shares them, only on the For You pages of their friends, ie the user with whom they follow each other.

For now, Repost is being tested on a small group of application users
