To jail for the death of his ex-wife

A man was sent to jail who would be involved in the violent death of his ex-wife in the neighboring department of Caquetá.

This is Diego Felipe Manrique who is being investigated for the murder with a knife of his ex-partner Yaneth Castañeda, which occurred in his home in the village of San Antonio de Getuchá in the municipality of Milan. .

Police spokesmen stated that the woman’s murder would have occurred on January 9, 2022, when the man entered through the back of the house, approached the victim and stabbed him in the neck that took his life seconds later.

According to the investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office, the relationship between Yaneth and Diego Felipe had ended about 15 days ago, apparently due to the physical and psychological abuse to which he subjected her, which was corroborated by family and friends.
