Tom Brady is focusing on football and family after having his divorce from Gisele Bündchen “play out in front of a lot of people.”
During Monday’s episode of his Sirius XM show, “Let’s Go!,” the NFL quarterback talked about how he’s juggling work and his personal life following his split from his wife of 13 years.
“I think there’s a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home,” he said.
“Obviously, the good news is it’s a very amicable situation and I’m really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”
He continued, “So, that’s what professionals do. You focus at work when it’s time to work, and then when you come home you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you can do is the best you could do. That’s what I’ll just continue to do as long as I’m working and as long as I’m being a dad.”
Brady, 45, went on to say he hopes to be like his own parents and teach his three children — sons Jack, 15 and Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9 — how to keep their heads held high in the face of adversity.
Since the split, Brady has kept his word as he was spotted hanging out with his children at the movies and volunteering at a food bank.

This is the first time Brady has addressed his divorce after he and the Brazilian supermodel announced the news on their social media accounts, with Bündchen confirming they had grown apart.
“My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart,” Bündchen, 42, wrote. “We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”
However, fans seemed to think the model shaded her now ex-husband by saying “my priority” instead of “our priority” given she allegedly left him for choosing football over their marriage.
In Brady’s statement, he also added that it was a “painful and difficult” decision to end their relationship after 13 years.
In court documents obtained by Page Six, it was revealed that the former couple took a 4-hour “family stabilization” course just days before they filed for divorce, claiming their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
The records also showed that they have agreed on a marital settlement over their multimillion-dollar empire — which will remain confidential.
