Tony Bellew has shed a tremendous amount of weight and looks even more ripped than when he was fighting in lastest pictures.
‘The Bomber’ retired in 2018 after going eight rounds with pound-for-pound superstar Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed cruiserweight championship of the world.
Bellew, 39, immediately called time on his career and admitted to becoming unhappy after gaining weight following his retirement.
It did not help that he snapped his Achilles tendon during a charity game at his beloved Everton, further pushing back his progress with dieting, although he has quietly continued to shed the pounds.
Combining a mixture of high intensity workouts with sparring, ‘The Bomber’ flashed his abs during a mirror picture after a workout on Friday afternoon amid rumours of a comeback.
Audley Harrison asked the former cruiserweight world champion if he was planning on returning to the ring, with Bellew posting a Gif with the caption saying, ‘You Just Never Know’.
While Bellew has always maintained he would never return to the ring, his lean physique and continued verbal attacks on Jake Paul have certainly got fans excited.
Bellew said he would ‘take the chin off his face’ if they ever met, although the YouTube star told talkSPORT he had ‘never heard’ of the proud Scouser.

Paul said: “I don’t know who half these guys are to be honest.
“People are calling me out every week, and almost every day honestly. I don’t really pay attention to it anymore.
“It’s more, ‘Who do I wanna fight? And who would make me excited to get out of bed and go train my ass off for months?’
“That’s the opponent I’m looking for. But all these other guys are probably just looking for a payday.”
He added: “I want to fight towards the end of the year.
“The opponent is to be determined and there’s no clear pathway now. I’m just seeing how the cookie crumbles.”
