Die einzigartige Octo Roma Emerald Grande Sonnerie weist mit ihrem Edelstein-besetzten Gehäuse und Zifferblatt nicht nur eine juwelenartige Erscheinung auf – insgesamt zieren 446 sambische Smaragde im Baguetteschliff und Diamanten von über 30 Karat die Uhr – auch ihr Klang wird Sie zum Staunen bringen. Der Grande-Sonnerie-Mechanismus mit vier Hämmern und Gongs gilt als die Königin der Komplikationen und ist der bis heute komplexeste Zeitmesser von Bulgari. Das Westminster-Geläut kann durch seitliche Knöpfe stummgeschaltet oder aktiviert werden. Angetrieben wird die Kreation von dem Kaliber BVL 703 mit automatischem Aufzug und Tourbillonregulierung, welches aus 732 Einzelteilen besteht und neun Monate zur Zusammensetzung braucht. Die Uhr wird an einem grünen Alligatorlederarmband präsentiert und kostet 1,5 Mio CHF.
Im Gegensatz steht die nicht minder aufregende Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon blue edition, die in einer auf 30 Exemplare limitierten Auflage erhältlich ist und die beiden traditionellen Komplikationen des Tourbillons und Schlagwerks vereint. Diese Uhr verfügt über ein grafisches, skelettiertes Uhrwerk mit blauen Brücken und wird mit einem blauen Alligatorlederarmband mit Dreifach-Faltschließe aus Platin geliefert. Das Platingehäuse wird von einem Gehäuseband aus gebläutem Titan umschlossen. Die Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon mit drei Hämmern misst 35 mm im Durchmesser, ist 8,35 mm hoch und besteht aus insgesamt 432 Komponenten. Die großzügigen Proportionen des Gehäuses sind darauf ausgelegt, die Schallausbreitung und damit den Klang zu maximieren. Die melodische Abfolge des Glockenspiels spielt den Ton C für die Stunden, die Töne E D C für die Viertel und den Ton E für die Minuten. Der Mechanismus kann durch einen Drücker auf der linken Seite des Gehäuses aktiviert werden. Das Uhrwerk, Kaliber BVL428 mit Handaufzug, gewährleistet bei voller Ladung eine Gangreserve von mindestens 75 Stunden. Auch der Preis für dieses Modell hat es mit 1,3 Mio CHF in sich.
