Unique Underwater Wedding Event Hosted In Bonaire

A couple who became engaged on Bonaire more than three years ago have tied the knot in a unique underwater ceremony featuring more than 70 divers.

The event was hosted by Toucan Diving, the diving operator at Plaza Beach and Dive Resort Bonaire.

The wedding party was from West Shore Scuba in Pennsylvania and saw the couple get hitched at 2 pm on February 2, 2022. After the underwater ceremony in which all took care that no reef or marine life was damaged, the divers returned to shore to celebrate. The party at the resort was wetsuit-inspired in keeping with the aquatic theme of the wedding.
