In Curva de Molina, west of the city of Maracaibo, a vaccination point was set up, where it is expected to immunize more than 500 people against Covid-19 and yellow fever.
Ronald Romero, director of the Autonomous Municipal Health Service (Samas), explained that the activation of this vaccination point is part of the second stage of the vaccination plan against covid-19 and other diseases, coordinated from the mayor of Maracaibo.
“The idea is to open seven new vaccination points, so that Marabinos have the opportunity to get vaccinated,” he said.
He added, that children 3 years of age and older can go to any of the 14 points arranged in different parts of the city to be vaccinated. “We want to invite all Marabino people to attend all the vaccination points,” he said.
The active vaccination points are: Maracaibo Mayor’s Office, Ground Floor, Barrio El Gaitero, Galerías Mall shopping center, CC Gran Bazar, CC Metro Sol, CC Sambil, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zulia (LUZ), Farmapunto de Cecilio Acosta, Combat Gym, Corito Market, Altos de Jalisco Market, Terminal de Passengers, Mobile unit in the Vereda del Lago (from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm), La Curva de Molina, next to the Polimaracaibo command.
