The Aosta Valley has doubled the new doses in one week. Very good Veneto ( 77.3%) and Trentino ( 73.3%). Further back, the central southern regions. Sicily is the only one to record a decrease (-0.9%)

It is still a two-speed Italy that emerges by examining the vaccination data after the approved decree by the Council of Ministers on September 16, which extends the green pass obligation to all workers starting from October 15. With a North that accelerates and a South that brakes.
First divided doses
The new doses are restarted . In the first post-Cdm week, from 17 to 23 September, based on data from Lab 24 , the new doses administered (including single-dose J&J and single doses of those who previously contracted the infection) were 568 thousand compared to 478 thousand in the previous week (10 -16 September), an increase of 19%. Veneto in the leading group
The Northern regions are leading the race. The highest peaks are recorded in Valle d’Aosta , which doubles the new doses in one week ( 98.7%), Veneto ( 77.3%), Trentino ( 73.3% ). The increases recorded by Emilia-Romagna ( 37.8%), Friuli Venezia Giulia are also significant ( 31.5%) and Lombardy ( 24.3%)

Further back the south center
The increases are more contained in the center ( Lazio 15.6%) and especially in the South: 9.9% in Calabria ; 5.1% in Campania and 3.3% in Puglia .

But above all the data of Sicily , the only region to record a retreat of the first doses compared to the week before the announcement of the obligation of the green pass to work (-0.9%). And this despite the region being the last post in Italy for vaccinated: only 70.1% of over 12s are fully immunized, compared to a national average of 78.2%.
