The Varese investigating magistrate Giuseppe Battarino validated the arrest of Davide Paitoni and arranged for his custody precautionary measure in prison in Varese, following the interrogation by the Guarantee during which the 40-year-old, arrested for the murder of his 7-year-old son and for the attempted murder of his wife, on of New Year’s Eve between Morazzone and Gazzada Schianno (Varese), he availed himself of the right not to answer. “He was not in a position to sustain the interrogation”, his lawyer Stefano Bruno told ANSA.
In the detention notified on Sunday afternoon to Davide Paitoni for the murder of his son Daniele and the attempted murder of his wife Silvia , from whom he was separating, the prosecutor Luca Petrucci also challenges him with premeditation and having acted “for abject reasons”. You can read it on ‘La Prealpina’. The abject reasons would be the retaliation against his wife, who had filed two complaints against him for ill-treatment.
The disputed charges are murder with the aggravating circumstances of premeditation and cruelty, and attempted murder.
