Valorant-like Hyper Front begins iOS TestFlight in the SEA region

NetEase Global, a world-renowned mobile game developer and publisher, has announced the opening of their iOS-based TestFlight for the upcoming 5v5 hero-based first-person shooter Hyper Front.

Hyper Front is NetEase’s response to the recently announced and much anticipated mobile port of Riot Games’ popular title Valorant. Featuring fast-paced competitive 5v5 gameplay based around hero characters and their abilities, Valorant and Hyper Front share a lot of similarities. However, with Hyper Front seemingly prepping for release before Valorant Mobile, this might be a good way to get ahead of the curve and appeal to that audience faster.

As of the past month or so, Hyper Front has been available in Thailand, The Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore on Android exclusively. While the countries it is available in haven’t changed just yet, this TestFlight is specifically to open up the game to iOS audiences and get them involved in the game. The TestFlight is still invitation-based, and while exact details are relatively scarce on how to get in, we do know that you will be using this survey to access the game alongside a questionnaire that needs to be filled out which will be used to send out invitations.

The survey will collect information about your device, past experience with games in general, your country, and your Discord and Facebook IDs. While everyone who completes the survey may not get in, you will at least get a chance at accessing the TestFlight through this survey if you’re chosen, so if you’re one of the SEA players who’s been watching your Android using friends play Hyper Front and hoping to get your chance, you should fill it out ASAP.

While Hyper Front is currently only available to Southeast Asia players, NetEase has expressed that a full global launch is in the cards, so stay tuned to the official Hyper Front Twitter handle to stay up-to-date with release information and potentially even more beta announcements.
