Vicente Fox attacks Sheinbaum for statements about García Luna

In the capital police “there is a different mystique” and in the country there are no more police chiefs like Genaro García Luna, commented the head of the Government of Mexico City (CDMX) Claudia Sheinbaum during the graduation of the 280 generation of new police officers (255 in uniform, 112 women and 143 men) who will join the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC).

“A head of the Federal Police has long been detained in the United States for being linked to organized crime, that is over in the country and that depends not only on the President of the Republic, on the Head of Government, it depends on a different mystique. of each one of the police officers that make up Mexico City,” said Sheinbaum. Given the comments, Vicente Fox Quesada, former president of Mexico, attacked the head of government via Twitter “Ah, you too, Claudia . Accuse others to save your responsibility, look how ‘cool’ you dress”, he commented.

The comment by the head of government came after the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador criticized a photograph of Genaro García Luna looking at Carla Bruni in the morning on January 7. “The lady walks and García Luna is looking at her in a disrespectful way. With the arrogance of García Luna, being a public servant, with a presidential visit in between”, commented AMLO.
