19 गेंद की अपनी पारी में अय्यर ने 4 चौके और 2 छक्के लगाए। उनकी पारी में 7 छक्के और एक चौका था। अय्यर ने सीरीज के पहले मैच में 13 गेंद पर 24 रनों की नाबाद पारी खेली थी। उन्होंने छक्का लगाकर टीम को लक्ष्य तक पहुंचा दिया। दूसरे मैच में भी उनका बल्ला जमकर बोला। उन्होंने 18 गेंद पर 33 रनों की पारी खेली थी। अभी तक भारत के लिए खेले 6 टी20 मैच में अय्यर ने 42.67 की औसत और 164 की स्ट्राइक रेट से 128 रन बनाए हैं।
