The present sketches give us clear indications that what we see is, more than likely, the version that will go into production soon. Thus, almost all the aesthetic details can be observed. Land Rover designers have redesigned the radiator grille, front / rear headlights and side air intakes.

At the rear, the tailgate will have a classic horizontal opening. The changes also include a straight roofline, new longer side-rear windows and an enlarged rear console.

that it will be about 5.1 meters long. That would be an increase of 34 cm compared to the Defender 110 and 22.7 cm compared to the rival Mercedes-Benz G-Class

Although unofficial, it looks like the new Defender 130 will be available in an 8-seater configuration. Despite the increase in size, his off-road skills will not be affected. At the same time, road holding will be improved.

A pick-up variant is also possible to compete with the Ford Ranger and Mitsubishi L200 models. The engines will be the same on Defender 110

As for the range of engines, they will be the same on the Defender 110. This means that we can expect a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

The offer would also include the new 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, which develops 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque. At the same time, a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 could be included in the range. It would produce a maximum power of 525 hp and 846 Nm of torque.

The Defender 130 is expected to receive the full range of diesel and petrol engines, including the P300e plug-in hybrid and the 542-horsepower petrol supercharged V8.

Last year in In March, the brand’s chief financial officer, Adrian Mardell, said that Defender 130 would arrive in the next 18 months. This means that the new generation should make its debut by the end of August this year.
