Instability on the three platforms affects users from different countries; companies still don’t report what happened
WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are down this Monday (4). According to Down Detector, a platform that monitors the functioning of digital services, user complaints started around noon.
The failure of both social networks and the messaging application not only affects Brazilians. The Down Detector points out that there are problems in practically every country in South America, such as Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Colombia. There are also reports of users in the US and Europe having difficulties using the platforms.
There is still no official information on what happened to cause this instability.
On Twitter, the official profile of WhatsApp and Facebook made the same post about the case: “We are aware that some people are having problems with WhatsApp at the moment. We are working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, users use Twitter, which follows running, to try to find out what’s going on and make fun of the situation.

The WhatsApp occupies the first position of the most commented subjects on Twitter, and the Telegram appears next. That’s because the competitor application is usually an alternative to keep exchanging messages in situations like today’s and made a post with a provocation.
