The 2024 Copa America is appointment viewing for all soccer fans in the United States as the South American international championship tournament comes the U.S.
Lionel Messi and Argentina look to defend their famous title from four years ago as the CONMEBOL competition takes flight in the USA, challenged by other South American powers like Brazil and Uruguay.
Additionally, six CONCACAF guest challengers have been taking part, as hosts U.S. were joined by Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, Canada, and Costa Rica to round out the field. Canada and Costa Rica qualified for the competition by winning playoff matches in March, with Les Rouges making the knockout stages.
Celebrating the halfway point between FIFA World Cups, and the 2026 edition also to be held on U.S. soil, the Copa America presents a high-leverage opportunity for teams to challenge themselves and see how they stack up against some of the world’s most powerful football nations.
