Wendy has been away from ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ for a long time due to her health issues. On February 8, TMZ reported that Sherri has been chosen as the permanent guest host.

According to the sources that spoke to the outlet, Sherri is the first choice and the deal to bring her in is almost locked. The outlet also reports that there are chances the name of the show will also be changed.
At the moment, an official confirmation has not been released.
