Simona Gherghe, Răzvan Săndulescu and their two children gave up the last hundred meters of their holiday in the mountains, in Romania, due to the lack of snow and low temperatures.
“The first time I said it was Poiana Brasov. Then, due to the lack of snow, at the beginning of January, we headed to Sinaia. Only there… blizzard and temperatures of -10 degrees, not good for skiing, especially for children. Skiing should be a pleasure, not a torment. I also analyzed Straja or Paltinis, but even here the temperatures gave me a lot of minus. So, out of panic, I took plane tickets to Dubai. We all tested, we chose the hotel and that’s how our first hot winter vacation was born. The children were very happy, they swam with a dolphin, they played in the water park on the slides, they went to the beach and swam in the sea, they were left with many tantrums from fatigue, I skipped lunch, they ate a lot of pasta , pizza, fruit and ice cream. It was unexpectedly beautiful, we came back tired (especially us, the parents), but happy that we managed perfectly in four. The holidays are ready, now I hope to catch another day of skiing, on weekends. And I dreamed of the next one! “, wrote Simona Gherghe on Facebook.
