Windows 11 costs CZK 3,390, but you can also buy it for free

Two different versions of the new operating system have traditionally been offered in domestic stores. For regular users, the version of Windows 11 Home is intended, which will cost CZK 3,390. The variant for the corporate segment called Windows 11 Pro then costs CZK 4,490.

The price of Windows 10 Home at official resellers is CZK 2,799, and in the case of Windows 10 Pro CZK 3,590. However, some sellers offer electronic licenses even cheaper – tens can be purchased for amounts slightly exceeding the imaginary limit of one thousand.

How to get a free update on Windows 11

If you want to go from tens to new elevens, you must first check compatibility. This is possible via the PC Health Check application. Incidentally, this was the case at a time when dozens came on the market.

This application can be downloaded directly from the website of the American software giant . The link is located almost at the bottom of the page, in a box called Check Compatibility.

However, it must be emphasized that Microsoft itself has a bit of “hockey” in the name of this application. He refers to it on his official website as PC Health Check. However, after the program is downloaded and installed on the computer, it is already given the Czech name – Checking the status of the personal computer.

The installation itself is more or less automatic, unless you need to edit the file location differently, you can do it in a few clicks. After starting the application, all key parameters of the whole computer will be loaded. However, the key is the blue button with the inscription Check now

After pressing it, the system will evaluate all the collected parameters. If everything is OK, it will display a message to the user that the system is compatible. If this doesn’t happen, people will find out in a detailed description why their system is not ready to move to Windows 11 and what else needs to be changed.
