tvN has released new stills of WJSN’s Bona in “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!
Set in 1998, “Twenty Five, Twenty One” is about youth who find new direction and growth after having their dreams taken away. Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk star as Na Hee Do and Baek Yi Jin, who first meet when they are 18 and 22 years old and fall in love years later when they turn 21 and 25.
Bona will portray Na Hee Do’s rival, 18-year-old national fencing athlete Go Yu Rim. While Go Yu Rim flaunts the charisma of a gold medal athlete, once she takes off her fencing uniform, she’s cute and lovable, being gentle in appearance but sturdy in spirit.
The new photos showcase Go Yu Rum facing an unexpected shower. After fencing practice, she leaves the building and frowns at the sight of sudden rain. She reaches out to touch the raindrops and looks up to gauge how much rain will fall. Magically, an umbrella falls from the sky. Go Yu Rim is baffled by her luck, but her expressions brightens with a lovely smile as she picks up the umbrella. Through the drama, viewers can find out the truth behind the miraculous umbrella that showed up out of nowhere.
As soon as Bona arrived on the set, she greeted everyone with a cheerful voice. During rehearsal, she checked all the details of her character’s movements and showed excitement for filming. Despite repeating the same movements over and over again to express the scene with the pouring shower, she didn’t lose her energetic smile, proving her passion and sincerity for her role.
Production company Hwa & Dam Pictures shared, “Kim Ji Yeon (Bona’s real name) is an actress who always boosts the vitality of the set every time she films with her happy smile and bright energy. Please watch Kim Ji Yeon’s passionate will to captivate the small screen with her lovely and refreshing charms.”
