Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 11 series in Malaysia, prices start from RM749

With premium features and affordable price tag, the Redmi Note 11 series has finally arrived at Malaysian shores today and they come in four models – the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11s, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

As the leading model of the series, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G packs a huge amount of exciting features that will excite budget phone hunters.

Powered by a Snapdragon 695 chip and supported by storage configurations of up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the phone sports a flagship-level 108MP main camera that surpasses many mid-range phones of the same class, you also get a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

On a side note, the Redmi Note 11 Pro also comes with a 4G variant where it is powered by a Mediatek Hello G96 chip with the same configuration and camera system.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G will come in 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants, while storage remains 128GB across the board with support for MicroSD card expansion.

Both the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11s sport bright 90Hz AMOLED displays at sizes of 6.43-inches and 6.67-inches respectively, they also come with stereo speakers, which both of these hardware features alone already beating most other competing phones of its class.

Despite being budget models in the series, these phones don’t compromise on performance as the Redmi Note 11s is powered by a Mediatek Hello G96 chip supported by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Redmi Note 11 gets a Snapdragon 680 chip supported by up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which are relative more powerful than competing phones of its class.

Both phones come with a 5000mAh battery and support 33W quick charging.

Camera wise, the Redmi Note 11s comes with a triple camera system that comprises a 108MP f/1.9 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro and 2MP depth camera, the Redmi Note 11 will come with a lower resolution 50MP f/1.8 main camera and shares the same camera for the rest.

For their selfie cameras, the Redmi Note 11s has a 16MP camera while the Redmi Note 11 has a 13MP camera, which isn’t too shabby for selfie lovers.

Redmi Buds 3 Lite and Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27″

Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi Buds 3 Lite wireless earbuds and the Mi 2K 27″ Gaming Monitor alongside the Redmi Note 11 series.

The Redmi Buds 3 Lite is an affordable wireless earbuds with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and sports up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge, it has IP54-certified water and dust resistance that’s useful for workouts, it will retail at an affordable price of RM99 with color options of Black and White.

The Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27″ features a colourful 27-inch VA panel that displays over 132% of the sRGB color gamut, while sporting a resolution of 2560×1600 with a 165Hz refresh rate, it is also offers a decent 400 nit of brightness which makes it a DisplayHDR 400 certified display.
