She has not got over Armaan yet even after he left her during their wedding. She has seen Armaan confessing his love for Abhira and their proposal moment as well. She also witnessed their romantic date but still does not want to accept the fact that Armaan can never be hers. Rohit returned and Dadisa asked Ruhi to be back in Rohit’s life again. He asked Ruhi to divorce him as he cannot take her anymore. Ruhi was also going through a therapy to over come from her feelings for Armaan but it seems that did not work on her. We saw that Ruhi who decided to divorce Rohit (Romiit Raaj) and shift to USA, suddenly had a change of mind and returned to Rohit. Garvita is ready to play the dark, vengeful side of Ruhi

She is trying to convince Rohit to start fresh with her and said that she wants to be with him. However, in the upcoming episodes of Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we will see Ruhi confessing that she came back to the Poddar house to separate Abhira and Armaan. She will be there to get Armaan back and not for Rohit.

We will get to see Ruhi making evil plans to put Abhira away from Armaan and we will see the negative side of Ruhi now. Garvita Sadhwani who plays the role of Ruhi spoke about playing this grey character. She spoke to India Forums and said that it is just a character and she will live and breathe it to the best of her capabilities.

She added that it is part and parcel of their job as actors to take on certain challenging roles, but all these characters are drawn from real life. Her approach towards this role is professional and insightful. She further said that darkness, jealousy, and vengefulness exist in a person and there’s no shame in playing these traits in a character.
