On the October 3 episode of KBS’s “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4,” the six cast members headed off on an “Autumn Picnic Trip” special.
In keeping with the “picnic” and “field trip” vibe of the special, the members were asked to bring their own packed lunches.
Ravi horrified the other members by bringing his infamous protein shake with blended chicken breast, apples, avocadoes, bananas, blueberries, and milk, which he eats regularly to maintain his body. He said, “I thought you might be curious about how this tastes, so I brought it with me today.”
Before Yeon Jung Hoon could open his lunch, the members were immediately curious to know whether his wife, actress Han Ga In, had helped make it. Yeon Jung Hoon hesitated and said, “As you know, I’m someone who eats my wife’s cooking at home three meals a day.” (Moon Se Yoon joked, “The worst type of husband.”) Speaking of his wife in formal speech, he continued, “When I heard that we were going on a picnic, I felt that I couldn’t ask her to help me with it. So I just bought the things I always wanted to eat on a picnic.”
This turned out to be things like French fries tossed in truffle oil, sandwiches, tomato with mozzarella cheese, and arugula salad. Ravi asked in confusion, “Who brings this on a picnic trip? This is just a restaurant!”
The members also expected that Moon Se Yoon, who is good at cooking as well as eating, would pack his own lunch. He “pretended” that his lunch had been packed by his entire family, but it all turned out to be things he had bought on the way. Kim Seon Ho also brought a wealth of seafood from Pohang, where he is currently filming his drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.”
