After Yörsan was purchased by a United Arab Emirates-based company in 2014, the UAE company transferred its funds from Turkey to a US company in 2018. sold it. The company then declared a bankruptcy due to the economic problems it experienced. A trustee was appointed in 2019. On 10 July 2020, Yörsan’s bankruptcy request was accepted at the Susurluk Civil Court of First Instance.
