Un detalle que hizo enfurecer a muchos fans es enterarse que Battlefield 2042 no tendría mejora next-gen gratuita, o por lo menos no es su versión regular. Parece que Electronic Arts escuchó a su comunidad y cambió esto.
Lo que pasa es que Electronic Arts confirmó que la versión estándar de las copias digitales de nueva generación de Battlefield 2042 también formarán parte del programa Dual Entitlement. Esto quiere decir que si compras una copia en la PlayStation Store podrás jugarlo en PlayStation 4 y PlayStation 5. Por otro lado, si lo adquieres en la tienda de Xbox podrás disfrutar el FPS en Xbox One y Xbox Series X|S.
Es importante hacer énfasis en que esto sólo aplica para las copias de Battlefield 2042 para nueva generación, las cuales cuestan $70 USD. Si solo te interesa jugarlo en PlayStation 4 o Xbox One puedes comprar la versión de $60 USD, pero te quedarás sin la oportunidad de jugarlo con mejoras de nueva generación.

Te recordamos que anteriormente paratener ambas versiones de Battlefield 2042 era necesario que comprarás la Gold Edition o la Ultimate Edition. Esto representaba tener que pagar $99.99 USD o más. Así pues, se trata de una forma más justa de conseguir el Dual Entitlement.
