Yulien Oviedo asks respect for J Balvin amid the controversy over the Latin Grammy

The Cuban reggaeton took advantage of the message asking for respect for J Balvin to announce that he will not sue the Colombian.

J Balvin is in the eye of the hurricane after he proposed a boycott of the Latin Grammy for the low representation of reggaeton artists in the list of nominees for the prestigious awards . Several were the artists who supported him in his words, but many others did not agree and pointed this out in messages on social networks.

This case is that of Yotuel Romero and Beatriz Luengo , who disagreed with the Colombian’s opinion. Although finally the three artists spoke in a video call in which they shared opinions and reached common ground on the awards , which will be held on November 18 in Las Vegas.

Another who did not hesitate to be contrary to the words of J Balvin was the Puerto Rican rapper René Pérez -better known as Resident -, who did not hesitate to harshly attack his colleague and until comparing his music with “a shopping cart hot dog. ”

But in the midst of this controversy, there are those who have come out in defense of the interpreter of“ Mi Gente ”, such as the Cuban reggaeton Yulien Oviedo , who through his social networks asked for respect for him.

“I respect humble people, who do not cheat or step on others to carry out their lives,” wrote the Cuban next to a memory in which he appears with the Child of Medellin. Accompanying his words he wrote the hashtags #latinogang, #nodemanda and #porquenomedalagana.

As a result of this post, many users agreed with his words and commented on what a great artist J Balvin is , while others reacted negatively to this post due to all the controversy caused by the Colombian calling for a boycott for the Latin Grammy 2021.
