Шматки покрівлі шторм викинув прямо на стоянку поблизу Геламко Арени. Працівники клубу не могли гарантувати безпеку уболівальникам, тому було вирішено скасовувати проведення матчу. Найімовірніше, поєдинок відбудеться у середу, 23 лютого, о 18:45, за умови, що до того моменту всі незакріплені частини даху будуть зняті.
До слова, Геламко Арена вже не вперше страждає від негоди: у лютому 2020 року шторм “Кіара” також зірвав частину даху. Тоді великий шматок металу впав на паркінг біля супермаркету, який, на щастя, вже був зачинений.
Нагадаємо, за Гент виступає півзахисник збірної України Роман Безус.
