באלקטריאון ממשיכים לגייס פוליטיקאים לשורותיהם והודיעו היום (שני) על הצטרפותו  של קורי ג’ונסון, יו”ר מועצת עיריית ניו יורק לשעבר, כיועץ אסטרטגי לחברה.

בתפקידו יסייע ג’ונסון לאלקטריאון לגבש אסטרטגיית חדירה לשוק האמריקאי בכלל ולניו יורק בפרט (העיר כמו גם מדינת ניו יורק). בחברת אלקטריאון, סטארט-אפ שפועל בתחום של טעינה אלחוטית של רכבים, ציינו כי הם מזהים את ניו יורק כשוק מרכזי הודות למיצוב העולמי הגבוה של העיר ולמספר הגבוה של צי הרכב המסחריים הפועלים בה, כחלק מהאסטרטגית החדירה לשוק האמריקאי, כשלצורך כך אף הוקמה חברה בת בארה”ב.
