יו”ר רע”ם מנסור עבאס אמר היום (שני) כי “נטיעת עצים בנגב בלי הסדרה לא מתקבלת על הדעת, אם לא תהיה ברירה, נדע לקבל החלטה נכונה”. זאת, לאחר שמוקדים יותר עטא אבו מדיעם, מספר שבע ברשימת רע”ם לכנסת, אמר כי מפלגתו לא יכולה להיות שותפה בממשלה שמבצעת נטיעות בנגב. “מדיניות הרסנית זו אסור שתתבצע ואם כן אין מקום לשותפות רע”ם בקואליציה”, אמר.
עבאס הגיע לנגב המשיך ואמר כי “נטיעת עצים כשאין הסדרה ואין תשובות הוגנות וצודקות לתושבים כאן, לא מתקבלת על הדעת ולכן אני נמצא כאן עם התושבים ונמשיך להידבר וללחוץ על הממשלה ועל הרשויות השונות. ברגע שנגיע למצב שבו אין ברירה, רע”ם תדע לקבל החלטה נכונה”.
מוקדם יותר אמר אבו מדיעם כי הם “לא יכולים להיות שותפים בממשלה שמבצעת חורשות באמצעות קק”ל על מנת לרכז כמה שיותר בדואים על פחות קרקע. זאת אחת התכניות ההרסניות. אכלוס עשרת אלפים בדואים בתוך העיר רהט (הן בדרום והן בצפון), ובעיר יש מצוקת דיור העולה על 8,000 זכאים. מדיניות הרסנית זו אסור שתתבצע ואם כן אין מקום לשותפות רע”ם בקואליציה”.

במקביל, רע”ם הודיעה היום שתחרים את ההצבעות במליאת הכנסת, אך כל ההצבעות שיובאו היום הן בהסכמה בין קואליציה לאופוזיציה – כך שלחרם היום אין כל משמעות. עם זאת, אם רע”ם תמשיך בכך גם בהמשך השבוע, יהיו לכך השלכות על הקואליציה.
