The Ministries of Education and Health announced resuming in-person classes for all students in the primary and kindergarten levels, less than 12 years old, in public, private, international and foreign schools from Jan. 23.

Meanwhile, distance education will continue through various platforms for students who cannot attend for health reasons, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Ministry of Education is monitoring the progress of the educational process in the primary and kindergarten levels according to the flexible operational models for returning to school attendance, as well as the commitment to implementing health protocols and procedures approved by the Public Health Authority.

The ministry emphasized the readiness of all schools to implement those protocols and procedures.
