【明報專訊】粵港兩地計劃推「港車北上」計劃，疫情下市民不能免檢疫來往兩地，新一份《施政報告》提到，待免檢疫通關逐步實施後，可逐步在港珠澳大橋推行港車北上，並考慮延伸至另一東面陸路口岸。政府消息稱，初步預計蓮塘香園圍口岸屬考慮之列。

施政報告提到粵港兩地政府正全力推進「大橋港車北上不設配額計劃」，讓合資格香港私家車經大橋往來香港與廣東省。
政府消息人士表示，參與計劃的私家車毋須取得中港兩地車牌，可直接經港珠澳大橋駛往廣東省，但要符合特定條件，例如只適用於8座位或以下車輛，車輛要有相關保險等。除了車主可再申請多一人駕駛車輛。消息人士又表示，計劃推出初期料毋須預約，但不排除日後車流量增加，在部分繁忙日子或時段可能需預約。
