광주 동구 화정 아이파크 붕괴사고 현장에서 실종된 작업 인부를 수색 중인 범정부 중앙사고수습본부와 지역 사고수습통합대책본부는 2일 정례 브리핑에서 “전날 오후 4시20분쯤 26층 2호 라인에서 매몰자의 발목 부분을 발견했다”며 “구조에 장시간 소요될 것으로 보인다”고 밝혔다.
