Except for Zeng Jiancheng and Deng Shili who were released on bail, the others are serving sentences or remand in other cases.
Chen Haohuan , Zeng Jiancheng, Xu Zijian, Hu Zhiwei and Chen Rongtai were charged with illegally inciting others outside the Court of Final Appeal on June 30, 2020, without legal authority or reasonable excuse, for knowingly participating in an unauthorized public procession .
in addition , Chen Haohuan, Xu Zijian, Hu Zhiwei, Zhu Kaidi, Liang Guoxiong and Deng Shili were charged with holding, organizing, and knowingly participating in an unauthorized public demonstration in the vicinity of Hennessy Road and Tonnochy Road in Wan Chai on the same day.
Apart from Xu Zijian, Hu Zhiwei, Zhu Kaidi, and Deng Shili did not plead guilty to knowingly participating in the unapproved assembly. They were filed in court, and the others pleaded guilty to all charges. As for Chen Rongtai’s earlier statement of denying the charge, the case will start in June next year.
