ההסתדרות הרפואית הודיעה אמש (א’) על סכסוך עבודה בכל המערכת האשפוזית במחאה על תופעת האלימות במערכת ועל רקע המקרה החמור מסוף השבוע האחרון של פגיעה קשה ואלימה ברופא נשים בחדר המיון של בית החולים איכילוב בתל אביב.
יו”ר ההסתדרות הרפואית, פרופ’ ציון חגי, הבהיר כי הסכסוך יופעל ברגע שתורגש ירידה בתחלואת הקורונה, לרבות שביתה של ממש בכל בתי החולים בארץ, אלא אם הממשלה תיישם באופן מיידי את כל ההמלצות שכבר אומצו בעבר ולא יצאו אל הפועל.
פרופ’ ציון חגי: “אחרי שהתרענו אינספור פעמים, הגיע הזמן לעבור למעשים. חיי הצוותים הרפואיים לא יהיו להפקר ואם מה שצריך לעשות זה לשבות – זה מה שנעשה”.
מדובר בין היתר בהצבת נקודות שיטור בכל חדרי המיון ובבתי החולים הפסיכיאטריים, הגברה משמעותית של מערך האבטחה, החרפת הענישה כלפי מי שמשתמש באלימות נגד צוותים רפואיים והתאמת החקיקה כך שתקיפת אנשי רפואה תיחשב כמו תקיפת שוטר.
