Обновления содержат важные исправления безопасности для iPhone и iPad. В сопроводительном документе Apple поясняет, что свежее ПО устраняет ошибку WebKit, которая может позволить вредоносному веб-содержимому запустить выполнение произвольного кода на устройстве. Apple заявляет, что ей известно о том, что уязвимость могла активно использоваться злоумышленниками, поэтому пользователям важно как можно скорее обновить свои устройства до iOS 15.3.1 и iPadOS 15.3.1.

Также согласно примечаниям к выпуску, iOS 15.3.1 и iPadOS 15.3.1 устраняют проблему, из-за которой дисплеи Брайля, предназначенные для вывода информации в виде, удобном для людей с нарушениями зрения, могли перестать отвечать на запросы.

iOS 15.3.1 и iPadOS 15.3.1 можно загрузить и установить на все совместимые устройства, воспользовавшись пунктом «Обновление ПО» в разделе «Основные» приложения «Настройки».
