Samsung keeps its promise! Cancel the ads displayed in the One UI interface

In the summer of 2020, Samsung made a disappointing decision for users. The company has introduced advertisements in its applications with the update to One UI 2.5 . They have appeared through banner menus, promoting in particular its new devices, but also other products, from other manufacturers, depending on the region. This did not last long, and Samsung announced in August that it would stop displaying ads in applications. Today we find out that the manufacturer seems to keep its promise.

The ads make their presence felt in applications such as Samsung Weather (Weather), Samsung Pay and Samsung Health. It seems that users also had a solution to get rid of these banners temporarily: forcibly stopping the application and reopening it. According to 9to5Gogle , the company will soon remove all these unwanted ads from their applications.

At the moment Samsung has not issued an official statement confirming this and did not provide any further information. However, according to the publication TizenHelp , several employees of the South Korean company have confirmed that the giant will give up displaying these ads in applications such as Samsung Health. I remind you that the manufacturer is also preparing the launch One UI 4.0 , interface based on Android 12.

The Beta program has already started , but only a number limited users have the opportunity to install the experimental software on the Galaxy S21 series, depending on the country. However, we can expect the ads to be removed with the One UI 4.0 update or even earlier with a security update.

Poprzedni rok w gamingu można uznać jako zdecydowanie dobry.
