Colour options have leaked for this year’s Galaxy Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5. Reputedly, Samsung plans to shake up the colours available for its foldable smartphones, as it did last year with the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold5.

Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), has offered a few details on the colour options Samsung plans to offer with its fifth-generation foldable smartphones. Purportedly, Samsung will shake up its offering again, having reduced the number of colours in which it sold the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 compared to their predecessors, excluding the former’s Bespoke Edition and the latter’s Burgundy online exclusive colour option.

Writing on TwitterYoung claims that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip5 in more colours than the Galaxy Z Fold5. Allegedly, the pair will share a colour option, unlike theGalaxy Z Flip4andGalaxy Z Fold4. This year’s Galaxy Z Flip is set to lose last year’s Blue and Black colours though, with Grey, Light Green and Light Pink arriving instead. Potentially, Grey could be a return of Graphite, although Young ruled out Black for the Galaxy Z Flip5.

In comparison, Samsung plans to give people a choice between Black, Light Blue and Beige for the Galaxy Z Fold5. The latter should be available for the Galaxy Z Flip5, as well as various Bespoke and exclusive online colours. Currently, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 in August alongside the Galaxy Watch6 series. Incidentally, Samsung’s forthcoming foldables have already been spotted on Geekbench, which we discussed last week.
