The Outlast Trials Gets Festive In Fearful New Update

Winter Is Killing 

The holidays have arrived. However, the trials are are turning them into the horror-days. A new limited time event is introducing a host of hellish holiday themed horror. Today, Red Barrel is happy to announce the newest update for their co-op horror game, The Outlast Trials. Running from December 12th to January 9th, the Winter Kills update is bring a variety of new content to the game. For instance, players can look forward to new challenges, new cosmetics, new evidence documents, and more. Of course, a new trailer gives players a taste of what they can expect from the update. 

The Outlast Trials

The Outlast Trials places players in the hands of the shadowy Murkoff Corporation. Held captive as a test subject, players will go through horrendous physical and mental experiments full of nightmarish foes. Furthermore, the trials will send players through different locations home to their own harrowing challenges. Yet, it isn’t all horrible. As players complete trials they can unlock cosmetics, lore, items, and more as they embark on more and more experiments for Murkoff. 

Interestingly, The Outlast Trial’s newest update, Winter Kills, is giving players even more experiments to look forward too. However, the rewards are just as important. Luckily, many presents await players who can complete these Holiday themed horror challenges. Importantly, the new Cold Snap and Find the Gifts experiment variations give players a chance to earn holiday themed items and cosmetics for their character.
