Holly Willoughby’s glittery Dancing on Ice skin comes courtesy of this £19 body cream

After leaving This Morning back in October, we’ve been looking forward to seeing Holly Willoughby back on our screens presenting the latest season of Dancing on Ice, not least because of her enviable wardrobe and flawless makeup.

Each episode has seen Holly embodying the series’ frosty setting with a range of glittering gowns, icy blonde hair and cool-toned makeup, and we’ve spotted another more understated way that her beauty routine has been mirroring the ice rink – her glittering skin.

For the eagle-eyed amongst us, we’ve noticed an ever-so-subtle shimmer on her body that catches the light just enough to give her a radiant glow, but not so much she looks like a walking glitter ball.

If, like us, you’ve been wondering exactly what Holly uses to get that pared down shimmer you’re in luck because we have the answers courtesy of her makeup artist Patsy O’Neill who has been diligently sharing the beauty secrets behind Holly’s Dancing on Ice looks each week, including her body cream.

It turns out that to achieve Holly’s glow you need one simple product – Beauty Pie’s Le Smash Santal Shimmering Body Moisture Crème, which has been reduced from its usual price of £59 to £19.50 here, making it a bargain buy with great results.

Apart from adding a subtle shimmer to your skin, the moisturiser is ultra hydrating thanks its combination of both coconut water and oil which help maintain your skin’s hydration, shea butter oil drops which nourish, condition and smooth your skin. It also contains meadowfoam oil which is rich in long chain Fatty Acids, which restore the skin’s moisture balance and help to reduce transepidermal water loss, keeping your skin super moisturised and healthy.

The Le Smash Santal Shimmering Body Moisture Crème, £19.50 here, has had plenty of rave reviews from shoppers, who have praised everything from how soft it leaves their skin to how incredible it smells, with top notes of almond powder, cardamon and tea leaves, ‎heart notes of tonka bean, vanilla pods and lavender fields, and ‎base notes of creamy sandalwood, musk and white suede all leaving a rich, luxurious scent on your skin.

One review said: “Lovely body cream, smells divine and has a slight shimmer, ideal for daily use or for going out. Leaves skin feeling soft and healthy.”

Another wrote: “I’m a lazy self carer! I never finish body creams. Always have every intention when I buy them but essentially I get bored. Oh my goodness though the scent of this makes me want to wear it every day and thus I am on my second pot. Go me!! Absolutely love it (I have the matching spray but actually prefer the scent in the body cream, just a little more muted).”

Whilst a third added: “Bought as a last minute buy required some body moisturiser. Lovely addition to my daily moisture routine. Great smell, lasting suppleness, with a subtle gold glisten to the skin. As always with Beauty Pie, great price point for a luxurious product.”

If you prefer more of an oil-based moisturiser, NUXE’s Huile Prodigieuse Golden Shimmer Multi-Purpose Dry Oil, £32 here, is also packed with a light golden shimmer and soaks straight in leaving a lightweight, non-greasy residue on your skin.

It also has a sweet, floral fragrance with top notes of orange blossom, heart notes of rose and lily, and vanilla base notes, and contains deeply nourishing Tsubaki oil which creates a free-radical fighting shield that combats daily pollutants that can lead to cellular deterioration and signs of ageing.

It’s official; shimmer is in. Shop Beauty Pie’s Le Smash Santal Shimmering Body Moisture Crème, £19.50 here.

India Is The World’s Largest Scotch Whisky Market
