“New Galaxy A smartphone on the way: Samsung is working on affordable Galaxy A33”

Samsung’s Galaxy A train rages on. In 2022, the company will release at least four new affordable devices, including the Galaxy A33.

Successor to Galaxy A32 coming in 2022

Samsung is working on a successor to the Galaxy A32. The device is expected to be called ‘Galaxy A33’ and will be on the market at the beginning of 2022. That reports GalaxyClub. Samsung announced the current model in February 2021. There is a good chance that the Galaxy A33 will appear around the same time in 2022.

Details about the new affordable device are still scarce. However, we are pretty sure that the device will get 5G support. The Galaxy A32 appeared in both a 4G and a 5G variant. Samsung is no longer expected to release a 4G variant of the Galaxy A33. 5G will be the new standard.

Devices from Samsung’s Galaxy A line are selling extremely well in the Netherlands. The Galaxy A52s and Galaxy A72 have been at the top of the Dutch rankings for a long time when it comes to sales figures. It is therefore not surprising that Samsung comes up with successors every year.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5GSpecifications

About the specifications of the Galaxy A33 is virtually nothing known. However, we can make an estimate based on the Galaxy A32. For example, the 5G version of the A32 has a large 6.5-inch screen and a Dimensity 720 chip under the hood. The device comes with Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI.

On the back of the device we find a 48 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor for portrait mode. The battery of the device is quite large with 5000mAh. We expect the Galaxy A33 to have similar specifications.
